Our primary focus with our infants is helping them to create stable attachments with their caregivers, help them reach developmental milestones, and help them to establish routines and schedules that make life easier for both the child and their parents. Ratios: 1 teacher : 3 students.

We come to love and adore our infants and are able to support their growth by collaborating with parents and referring to current evidence-based research on infant development. Our teachers are knowledgeable, observant, and warm. We pride ourselves on keeping parents updated on their child’s eat, sleep, play, and additional activities throughout their days with us.

Your young child will be engaged in a wide range of activities that aim to support their language, motor, social, emotional, and cognitive development.  We spend ample time outdoors getting dirty and exploring all that our country property has to offer. Your child will become familiar with a wide range of songs, stories, fingerplays, silly dances, and activities that support their growth and get them excited to come to school and learn.

Our Howard County location is right outside of Columbia & Ellicott city and offer part-time and full-time infant care.

GIGGLE AND GROW

 12 MONTHS TO 24 MONTHS

Ratios: 1 teacher : 3 students

Once your child reaches a year old, we work to keep up with them as they start to walk, talk, and have an increased interest in the world around them.  Parents receive daily updates, pictures, videos, logs, and communication regarding their child’s activities. The children benefit from lesson plans that get them hands on learning experiences and give children the opportunity to lead their learning.

We utilize a program that is accredited and approved by The Maryland State Department of Education as a means by which to use concepts that are familiar in children’s lives in order to structure activities that address all of the major learning domains in early childhood education.

Some of the studies we explore include :

  • Light

  • Bags

  • Balls

  • Brushes

  • Containers

  • Clothes

  • Paper

  • Rocks

  • Seats

  • Shoes

It is incredible to watch the change in your children during this year. They are mobile, independent, bold, and ready to take on the next stage. A lot of children leave this classroom potty-trained. As they learn to talk and their comprehension skills improve, we teach our students manners, clean up skills, and how to be a good friend.
