Howard County Summer Camp

Our Howard County summer camp is open from 7:00 AM- 6 PM Monday- Friday. We’re conveniently located right outside of Ellicott City and Columbia. Camp is closed on the 4th of July. The camp is located at Your Journey RT 97 Glenwood. THIS IS A TABLET/ DEVICE FREE SUMMER CAMP with the exception of a movie day once a week. Campers are required to pack a bagged lunch and to come with sunscreen applied and packed for re-application.

Ages

Available to children 5 years old to 13 years old.

Camp Field Trips

The children will at minimum 2 field trips each week with additional trips to the Glenwood Branch Library or Western Regional Park. While on-site, they have free play and activities that will expose them to concepts involving, STEAM, tech, exploration, humanitarianism, and so much more.

The children will be transported by one of our YJNP camp counselors and there will be ample opportunities for parent chaperones to join us.

Summer Camp Registration

If registering for 1-5 weeks total this summer, registration is $100

If registering for 5-10 weeks total this summer, registration is $200

  4. Immunization Form

  5. Health Inventory

  6. Medication Administration Authorization (if needed)

  7. Allergy Action Form (if needed)

  8. Asthma Action Form (if needed)

Documents 1 and 2 can be scanned and emailed to yourjourneydaycare@gmail.com to secure registration. A Brightwheel account will be created for your child and invoices will be sent. Payment can be made by ACH transfer or check. Documents 3-8 must be submitted by 6/1. All hard copies of documents must come with children on their first day of camp.
